With the new trend in the virtual reality head sets, these are a new idea but much like the Netendo wii or Pokémon Go this idea could just be a trend going into a wrong direction. The new release of Sony’s Play Station VR this company had taken the new task of bringing gamers to the reality that takes them into a first person world of the game. a rethought concept that I personally am very passionate in seeing where virtual reality will evolve for the future. A concept that I hope won’t stop at gaming, that we can take these gaming experiences much like Ubisoft’s game the werewolf within. That takes the users to a camp fire where with basic conversation you need to find who is the werewolf or get away with being one. So this is a game with a face to face environment that you cant get with other games, that can take this idea and use it for other simulated social event. I believe that we could take this to a new place that comes from gaming to the real world. This idea to have a meeting through virtual reality has been an idea to Sci-Fi books and movies and now it is finally here and that is something that I would love to see take wings to fly.
Other then the potential of the virtual meetings and other virtual experience’s that we could utilize from VR’s. The usage of the headset could be potentially Dangerous. They’re a large amount of videos where people try a game where the user would have to (in the game) shift their weight then mistake that for the way you use your body in real life then end up on the ground, NOT FUN. So if you purchase a game or virtual experience maybe use it when you sit down and get comfy with it. Sorta give yourself training wheels at first till you can handle the entire experiences. other then that if you have the console have a blast.
